New Rising Sun and the The
Kings Head. Located on the riverside at Coltishall
Common with free moorings. Extensive food menus. The
Recruiting Sergeant is closer to the village
also with an extensive menu. Other restaurants can
be found in the village centre.
Shops: include supermarket, pharmacy, launderette, antiques
all located in the village centre.
Wroxham
Public Houses and Restaurants: Kings
Head Hotel and Wroxham Hotel.
Located either side of Wroxham bridge with moorings (fee
payable at the Wroxham Hotel) Both have restaurants and bar
food. Other restaurants available within a few minutes of
the moorings.
Shops: Roys supermarket, fancy goods, clothing
gardening and hardware. Major banks, a launderette
and assorted takaways.
Horning:
Public Houses and Restaurants: Swan
Inn, The New Inn and The
Ferry Inn. All riverside with moorings (fee
payable at the Ferry Inn) Extensive menus available
at all three. Other restaurants available closer to
the village centre.
Shops: grocers, newsagents, gift shops and
antiques
Ranworth:
Public Houses and Restaurants: The
Maltsters and the Granary
Restaurant. Free moorings at the nearby staithe.
Extensive menus.
Shops: provisions and gifts available from
the Granary Stores.
Upton:
Public Houses and Restaurants: White
Horse Public House. Food available lunchtimes
and evenings. Free moorings nearby
Acle:
Public Houses and Restaurants: The
Bridge Inn is riverside by Acle bridge. The
Hermitage is closer to the village. Both have
extensive menus and make a charge for mooring. Free
moorings at two boatyards nearby.
Shops: A variety of shops and a supermarket
available in Acle village centre.
Stokesby:
Public Houses and Restaurants: The
Ferry Inn is riverside and has its own chargeable
moorings. Free mooring at the public staithe close by. Extensive
menu available.
Stracey Arms:
Shops: The Stracey Arms Mill shop and tearooms
are riverside with free moorings.
