These boats are a popular choice for the first time boater partly becuase they are smaller and more manageable and also becuase of the visibity offered of the whole boat going forward. Also popular for fishing due to their larger outdoor area.

These are usually newer designs offering a choice of driving from a raised on-deck position and from an internal helm, catering for every type of weather. Excellent views are offered from the raised outdoor helm.

Another good choice for the first time boater as they steer from the front, much like driving a car. They often offer a slide-back wheelhouse allowing al-fresco eating. Flat floored throughout, they are good for the less well-abled.
